Controller: Valkyrias del Mar S.L., tax ID B72730203, C/ Salvador del Mundo 4, Bajo G, 11009 Cádiz, Spain; privacy and rights contact: info@cenizasenelmar.es. Contact, enquiry and case data are used to respond and prepare quotations and, where contracted, arrange, deliver and document the service, on the basis of requested pre-contractual steps and contractual performance. Invoicing and mandatory records rely on legal obligations. Service safety and abuse prevention are limited to what is necessary under applicable obligations or a balanced legitimate interest. Required fields are necessary to handle the request; omitting them may prevent this. The initial form does not request identity documents or certificates. Necessary documents are collected through an agreed channel and limited to the case purpose. We use Sites/OpenAI and its integrated infrastructure for the website and records; IONOS for corporate email and historical WordPress; Microsoft 365/OneDrive for document archiving; and Stripe for payments, including its own functions required by law. The vessel operator, necessary suppliers and authorities receive only data relevant to their role; specific involvement is explained where required. LATAM enquiries are received by CEEM; before referral, the operator and country will be identified and the necessary basis and safeguards determined. Funeral documents are not automatically forwarded to operators. International services may involve processing outside the EEA, subject to legally required safeguards through the valid mechanism for the particular provider and processing. Details and copies of safeguards can be requested at the contact above. Exclusively European residency is not promised. Unconverted enquiries are retained for 12 months after last contact unless a documented duty or claim requires otherwise. Contracts and invoices follow statutory periods; commercial records have a 6-year reference period from the last accounting entry, which is not extended to all identity or operational data. Authorisations and certificates are reviewed when the service, custody or incident closes and kept only while necessary or legally required. Memorials, images of living persons and publication require separate instructions and authorisations: Spain as contracted, no CEEM memorial for LATAM. Removal requests require checking authority and affected third parties. Erasure, restriction or legally required blocking also apply to copies according to their actual cycle; restored data must respect recorded restrictions. You may request access, correction, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable, withdraw consent without retroactive effect, and complain to the Spanish AEPD, www.aepd.es. Identity-document copies are not routinely required to exercise rights. Enquiry data is not used for marketing without a separate basis, and no solely automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made.
