Where to arrange a farewell at sea

Yes. We offer ceremonies with attendees and deposits without the family present. Passenger capacity depends on the vessel and location and is confirmed in the proposal.

A service with attendees usually lasts about two hours, depending on the location and option chosen. Your proposal specifies the planned duration.

We first check availability and send a proposal. The date is secured once the applicable booking procedure is completed. Sending an enquiry does not make a booking.

We will explain the documents needed for your circumstances during preparation. You do not need to attach certificates or personal documents to your initial enquiry.

The skipper makes the final safety decision. Sailing will not start with existing or forecast wind above Beaufort force 4, waves above 1 metre or visibility not exceeding 1 nautical mile. If safe sailing is impossible, we inform you as early as possible and propose a mutually agreed date within 12 months of the original date, subject to availability and safety. Rescheduling and urn custody during that period are free. A safety postponement is not treated as the family’s voluntary cancellation. Applicable statutory termination and refund rights are respected without imposing a 12-month wait to exercise them.

Inclusion depends on the service option and location. Your quotation specifies what is included and the extras available.

CEEM coordinates your enquiry from Spain. The local operator contacts your family to agree the service. The quotation, documents and terms relate to the destination. Spanish memorial pages are not included in Latin America.
